It’s time for our Holiday Special Release Mania!!

Living in proximity to New York City, I am well-acquainted with the New Year’s tradition of following the ball drop to 0. So, for these 10 days until New Years, there will be at least one release every day! Make sure you check in and celebrate with us! =D

Day 10 (Dec. 22)

• Beauty Pop (Stage 2) volume 9 chapter 45(v2) & volume 10 chapter 48

  Welcome to volume 10, the last volume of Beauty Pop! Things are finally reaching climax in the final competition! Chapter 45(v2) now has the missing page inserted. At this point, all chapters within the past couple of releases have all their pages; if your file is missing a page, I’d suggest going back and re-downloading from the recent links.

Day 9 (Dec. 23)

• Another Kingdom volume 1 chapters 3-4 (Joint with Aerandria)

  A big thank you to Aerandria for working with us in scanlating this project! Another Kingdom reveals some secrets of Yatoh’s past. Is it just me, or is Akajita not getting enough love??

Day 8 (Dec. 24)

• Beauty Pop (Stage 2) volume 10 chapter 49

  Things go from bad to worse for Team SP as Narumi’s father continues to play dirty. And where is Kiri? Hope everyone had a lovely eve~!

Day 7 (Dec. 25)

• Beauty Pop (Stage 2) volume 10 chapter 50

  Merry Christmas, everyone! Pick up your Beauty Pop on the way~ ;)

Day 6 (Dec. 26)

• Beauty Pop (Stage 2) volume 10 chapter 51 (END)

  Haha, it’s amazing that so many of you were able to find us amidst the horde of Christmas releases yesterday. Yes, chapter 51 is the last chapter of Beauty Pop! There are three Extra Stories remaining in volume 10 that we will release as well, but for all purposes, this is the final chapter of the series! I won’t spoil for you–go on, pick it up and read it!

Day 5 (Dec. 27)

• Beauty Pop (Stage 2) volume 10 extra stories 1-3

  Three Extra Stories (of varying lengths) to wrap up the final volume and the project. They take place in the canon universe, so we get to spend a little more time with our favorite characters before saying farewell to Beauty Pop! We’ve had a lot of fun scanlating this manga, and now we happily move it to the Completed section. =D

Day 4 (Dec. 28)

• Aozora Pop volume 1 chapter 5

  Ahaha, finally a chapter that isn’t Beauty Pop. ;) We’re back with Orika as she confronts her toughest obstacle yet: her father. (If you squint, Oouchi-sensei might be foreshadowing some development in the love department! Of course, we’ll have to see how it turns out at the end.)

Day 3 (Dec. 29)

• Shiritsu! Bijinzaka Joshi Koukou volume 2 chapter 6

  En takes on the strongest power in the school–the Bijyofuu. Warning for crude language. About the Bijyofuu: after extensive study of the raws and the furigana, I’ve decided to use the full romanization for Bijyofuu, which is the group that controls the Student Conduct. In the previous chapters, the Bijyofuu was mistakenly identified as the Student Conduct. I apologize for any confusion. >< Student Conduct and Bijyofuu are separate...sort of...

Day 2 (Dec. 30)

• Crimson Hero volume 10 chapter 42

  The match between Aigaku and Benino begins! Plenty of volleyball action!

Day 1 (Dec. 31)

• Skip Beat volume 16 chapter 95

  We are down to our final day! Here’s one last release for the year. Celebrate the last day of 2008 with a chapter of Skip Beat!

…and let it keep snowing! I’m getting more than just a couple of snowflakes, so hopefully it’ll keep going. ^^ My first real snowfall of the winter! I am excited beyond words.

This release is occurring later in the month than I had expected, but my exams are finally finished, so I finally had time to pull this together! Good luck to the rest of the staff with their end-of-year exams and projects, and also to the readers as well!

We are here to celebrate a very special day: Enchantment Scans’ Anniversary! Yes, that’s right, we have been alive and kicking for two whole years as of today! And what better way to commemorate than by releasing a batch of new chapters.

I originally planned to get this update out earlier today, but there were some last-minute things to take care of. >< Consequently, I am exhausted but in a relieved happy sort of way. xD Here are the Anniversary Releases:

We’re very excited to begin a cute new project, Another Kingdom, with Aerandria. (Damn, the heroine already has two guys in the first chapter! *ish jealous*) Aozora Pop gives us all the more reason to wonder how such beautiful families exist. In Crimson Hero, Nobara gets a first-hand confrontation with Benino’s next opponent. FATE Scans helps give us another super-cute chapter of Koigokoro Senpukuchuu, where we join Ritsuka in finding her soul mate! More drama develops in Skip Beat with an oblivious Kyoko in the center of it all. Speaking of which, have you guys seen the Skip Beat anime yet?? *__* And as for Beauty Pop…well, 5 chapters speaks for itself! xD New rivals and new nefarious plots take hold as the National Contest begins! But none of that matters, because the award goes to all the interestingsituations that our favorite characters get into (and make the rest of us squeal in delight!). 8D

Thank you to all of our Joint Partners for working with us! Big hugs go out to Aerandria and FATE Scans for holding off chapters so that we could release on this day, and for their well-wishes! Please remember to respect their release policies and ask them for permission if you wish to host the Joint Projects.

HUGE thanks to all of the staff for all of their hard work and pulling through to make this Anniversary release possible (and my sincerest apologies to the ones I overworked to get this release >o<) . I don't think I could ever express all my gratitude. You guys really are the most wonderful people ever, and I'm so lucky to have such amazing Staffers! You guys are what keeps the team running. (And honestly, where else would I find more devoted manga-fans that you’d put aside part of your busy lives to spread the manga love!) These are the individuals who deserve all the credit, people! ^^ A shout-out, too, to the retired staff who have contributed immensely to our releases in the past, as well! Even though you’re no longer with us, I hope you still can still celebrate your achievements and take pride in this team.

Thank you to Lingy, the goddess of Enchantment herself, for letting us branch off into scanlation and use the webhost and Forum that allowed us to evolve. She also made us the lovely Anniversary graphic that blinks up at you in all the Anniversary releases. ^^ Best of luck to you, Lingy, and the revival of our host site, Eternal Enchantment!

Last, but certainly not least, thank you to all the fans for all your love and support for these two years! You guys make everything worthwhile! We really hope that you enjoy these releases as we celebrate our second birthday. ^^
